Australia’s most populous state of New South Wales state has recorded its first Omicron-related fatality on Monday in western Sydney, The Associated Press News Agency reported.
The fully-vaccinated man contracted the mutated strain of COVID-19 at an elderly care facility. He was in his eighties and had no underlying health conditions.
