Authorities set curfew for Lazio, including Rome

The regional government in Lazio will introduce a curfew in the region, including the Italian capital of Rome, which will start from October 23 in an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus as new cases across Europe spike, Corriere della Serra reported on Wednesday.

According to the plans set by Lazio Governor Nicola Zingaretti, citizens will only be allowed to leave their houses for work or urgent needs between midnight at 5 am.
