BAL 2022: US Monastir eliminates Cape Town and goes to the semi-finals

It is a splendid joy in Kigali for the Tunisian champions who, after outstanding performances in Dakar, continue their adventure in by qualifying for the semi-final. Union Sportive Monastirienne defeated 107-67 (44-33 half-time) this afternoon South African Cape Town Tigers, third in the Nile Conference at the end of the first phase.

In the semi-final on Wednesday, May 25, the Monastirians will challenge the victor of the last quarter between SLAC (Guinea) and Zamalek (Egypt). Remark that Petro Luanda – Armed Forces and Police (FAP), is the first poster of the semi-finals of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). As for Petro Luanda, they were disposed of in the first quarter-final of AS Salé 102-89. While the Cameroonians won (66-63) against the champions of Rwanda, who left the competition in their first home game.
