Biden orders declassification of 9/11 docs

United States President Joe Biden signed an executive order on Friday directing the Department of Justice to supervise “a declassification review of documents” from the FBI investigations of September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks against the US.

Specifically, US Attorney General Merrick Garland was instructed “to release the declassified documents publicly over the next six months.”

“When I ran for president, I made a commitment to ensuring transparency” on the declassification of 9/11 documents, Biden reiterated.
