CAN 2021: Skhiri promises that the Tunisian team will bounce back

 
After their loss in Cameroon, all of Tunisia desires to vengeful the Eagles of Carthage with qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. This is what the international midfielder of FC Köln, Ellyes Skhiri pledged in a video published by his club on his Facebook page while revealing that they will not disappoint them for the following deadlines.
 
After his first training session, Skhiri said: “We played a lot of games without several players and the coach (suffering from Covid-19). We are dissatisfied. We desired to go further in this competition. It’s soccer. We will come back in force and prepare for the next deadlines. We had to adjust despite all the problems and continue to learn from our errors and fight to achieve our goals”.
 
Concerning a potential departure at the end of the season, one of the 3 best defensive midfielders in the Bundesliga reassured the club’s supporters: “I am delighted to return to the club. I’m a bit tired. We’ll see in the next few days. I want to get my feelings back. I will work hard to be successful with the club.
