A car crashed on Wednesday into the gate of the German Chancellery in Berlin where the office of Chancellor Angela Merkel is located, media reports and footage was taken on social media showed. It is unknown if Merkel was in the building at the time.
The footage revealed a dark green Volkswagen car slammed into the gate. It had two messages written in white on it: one read “Stop globalization politics” while the other said, “you damn killers of children and old people.”
There were no reported fatalities.
