China allocates approximately $9 billion to contain the spread of Coronavirus as death toll rises to 106 and 4,500 infected

China’s finance ministry and the National Health Commission have stretched 60.33 billion yuan ($8.74 billion) to assist in containing a Coronavirus, according to a statement on the ministry’s website.

The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak rose to 106 and 4,500 infected, as the government extended the Lunar New Year holiday and more big businesses shut down or told staff to work from home to control the spread.
