China halts Sichuan Airlines Cairo-Chengdu flight after passengers test positive

China’s aviation authority announced on Wednesday it would halt Sichuan Airlines from operating the Cairo-Chengdu track for a week from July 6, after six arriving passengers tested positive for COVID-19.
Last month, a China Southern Airlines flight from Dhaka to Guangzhou was adjourned for four weeks over anxieties about imported infections.
