China slams EU’s new position on Taiwan

China “strongly condemns” and “firmly opposes” the European Union’s stance on Taiwan presented in the European Parliament’s new report, the country’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated on Thursday.

Wang went on to stress that Beijing urges all the parties involved “not to underestimate the strong resolve, determination, and capability of the Chinese people in safeguarding national sovereignty.”
