Former United States President Bill Clinton is likely to be released from the hospital on Sunday, his spokesperson, Angel Urena, announced in a statement.
Clinton, who was hospitalized on Tuesday due to sepsis was placed in the intensive care unit and is set to remain overnight at UC Irvine Medical Center to continue to receive antibiotics before the expected discharge, his spokesman said.
“The California-based medical team has been in constant communication with the President’s New York-based medical team, including his cardiologist. We hope to have him go home soon,” Urena stated.
