Coronavirus latest: Death toll breaches 2,000 as number of cases reaches 75,000

The global death toll from the coronavirus outbreak has exceeded 2,000, with the vast bulk of fatalities taking place in China’s crisis-hit Hubei province. More than 75,000 people globally have been infected with the disease, known as Covid-19.
