Covid-19 test centre is hit by explosion in Dutch town

A blast blew out the windows of a COVID-19 testing centre in the town of Bovenkarpsel in North Holland, Dutch police announced on Wednesday.

No one was wounded in the blast, police told AFP in a statement.

The explosive “must have been placed” there, police spokesman Menno Hartenberg told Reuters, adding that “something metal” had caused the explosion.
