Cyberattack targeted US nuclear agency

A recent cyberattack on United States administration systems targeted the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the Department of Energy (DoE), Politico announced on Thursday.

Unnamed officials affirmed that most damages were executed at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) network. They also added that an inquiry is ongoing but that preliminary information points to a security flaw in SolarWinds’ software which is used by many US government agencies
