Daily COVID deaths jump to record high 415 in Iran

Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson Sima Sadat Lari announced on Wednesday that the country registered a record high 415 coronavirus-caused fatalities in the past 24 hours, raising the nation’s death toll from the virus to 33,714.

The country reported 6,824 new infections with COVID-19, down from Tuesday’s record of 6,968. The total number of confirmed cases in Iran rose to 588,648.
