The Ministry of Communication Technologies reported the passing today of Sami Mekki, CEO of the Tunisian Post. The late was designated CEO of the Tunisian Post on August 29, 2020.
Sami Mekki is an economics graduate and former student of the National School of Administration (ENA) of Tunis and France’s National School of Taxes (ENI). He operated for 20 years at the Ministry of Finance and contributed to reforms affecting local finances, he is among the drafters of the local tax code of Tunisia.
During his career, Sami MEKKI has capitalized on a powerful experience rich in several missions in optimising and mobilising local tax resources.
In April 2014, Sami MEKKI was appointed Managing Director of a financial institution specializing in financing investments in Tunisian cities.
Author of numerous articles on local finances, Sami MEKKI is also a teacher in Tunisian universities.
