Death toll from Philippines floods rises to 35

The death toll from the latest floods in the Philippines rose to 35, with 12 injured, according to a summary released Sunday by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

In addition, the authorities also reported that seven people were missing, 1,780 houses were damaged, and 548 were destroyed.

Electricity supply was interrupted in 68 cities, water supply in 17, and communication lines in other 14.
