Drinking water in the town of Kef: “One day it’s yes, one day it’s no”

In the governorate of Kef, the regional commission to combat drinking water supply cuts has decided to proceed with the quota system to supply intermittently 24 hours (one day with, one day without) from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. in four neighbourhoods falling within the town of Kef.

These are the districts:

  • Cité Aïn Mnakh and Cité Hached (One day’s supply)
  • Essakhra City and Chrichi City (One day of supply)

The committee emphasised that supply will be done gradually depending on the location of network subscribers. “This decision was taken to deal with water stress and the reduction in resources in deep wells,” adds the same source.
