Drug trafficking: 4 networks fall in capital, 16 arrests including a woman

The National Guard units in Ben Arous conducted an important operation on Friday evening, December 6, dismantling four criminal networks implicated in drug trafficking in Borj Cedria. According to the National Guard’s statement, the operation followed a detailed investigation and continuous surveillance that identified the suspects and their operations. Sixteen people, including a woman, were arrested, and large quantities of drugs and illicit cash were seized. The suspects were placed in pretrial detention and will face legal proceedings.
