Mr. Nabil Ammar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, received today, August 19, 2024, at the headquarters of the Department, Mrs. Elisabeth Wolbers who handed him a copy of her Credentials as the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Tunisia.
On this occasion, the Minister greeted the newly appointed Ambassador and confirmed the readiness of the Department to provide her with the required assistance to carry out her duties,reads a press release by the foreign ministry.
The meeting was also an opportunity to recall the longstanding relations between Tunisia and Germany and the need to work for their consolidation and development within mutual respect and for the benefit of both sides.
The role of the Tunisian diaspora in strengthening the bonds between the two peoples and the conditions of their stay in Germany as well as the importance of facilitating the mobility between the two countries, were also underlined.
