Erdogan calls for more pressure on Israel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday urged the international community to put “more pressure” on Israel to facilitate the implementation of the resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip adopted by the United Nations Security Council.

“Israel, the spoiled and lawless child of the West, must be put under increased pressure to comply with the decision,” Erdogan said at a rally in Istanbul.

Further, the Turkish head of state pledged that his country will keep supporting its “Gazan brothers,” underlining that Turkey will “make every effort to ensure peace and tranquillity as soon as possible.”
