Erdogan calls Netanyahu ‘enemy of humanity’, slams global inaction

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, calling him an “enemy of humanity” and criticizing global inaction in stopping his military decisions that are affecting civilians in Palestine and Lebanon.

Giving a speech in Ankara, Erdogan described the situation in Middle East as a “downfall of humanity,” emphasizing that over 50,000 civilians in Gaza have been killed, with 2 million bombarded.

Erdogan accused Israel of taking control of international institutions dedicated to peace, and human rights, such as UNRWA and press freedom, claiming that “international law is being replaced by the rules of the jungle.” He expressed disappointment at the limited response from the international community, particularly from Islamic nations, during what he described as “shameful days for humanity.”
