Espérance – Jwaneng Galaxy: A Mauritian referee on the whistle

The arbitration committee within CAF has designated a Mauritian referee trio, comprised of Ahmed Imtiaz Hiral as a central referee, who will be aided by Ram Babaji and John-Marc Bethea to officiate the opening match of the Champions League of group C, this Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. at the Rades stadium, against Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana.

While the fourth referee of this meeting will be Patrice Melazar.

Note that this match will take place without an audience following the sanction inflicted by CAF against the “blood and gold” after the events of the first leg of the semi-finals of the 2021 edition against Al Ahly.
