EU affirms support to help Ukraine’s energy sector

European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson affirmed the bloc’s support to help Ukraine’s energy sector during her visit to Kiev on Tuesday.

“Ukrainian energy infrastructure is under targeted attack by Russia – a cruel & inhumane tactic to cause human suffering as the winter is approaching,” Simson wrote on her Twitter page, inviting all member states, institutions, and allies to scale up support to Ukraine.
