The European Union is beginning another legal action against AstraZeneca plc, directed at pushing the British-Swedish pharmaceutical group to give 90 million additional doses of its COVID-19 vaccine to the bloc by the end of June, European Commission spokesman Stefan de Keersmaecker stated on Tuesday.
“We want the court to order the company to deliver 90 million additional doses, in addition to the 30 million already delivered in the first quarter,” he explained at a press conference.
