Exclusive- Adjournment of Dbeibah’s visit to Tunisia: The real reasons

The vacation leave of the Libyan responsible for Affairs in Tunisia, which corresponds with the so-called “cancellation” of the visit of the head of the Libyan government Abdelhamid Dbeibah, has provoked controversy.
Informed sources have confirmed to Tunisie Numérique that this is a “storm in a glass of water”. Indeed, Dbeibah’s visit was designed to jointly declare with the Tunisian side the opening of the Tunisian-Libyan borders.
Nevertheless, the Scientific Committee to fight against the coronavirus opposed this decision, for the high health risk of such an operation.
The head of the Libyan government has consequently decided to delay his visit. Concerning the leave of the Libyan Affairs Officer in Tunisia, the same sources indicated that the latter had already prepared to go on leave for some time, but that he had postponed his departure to be present at the time of the visit of the head of Libyan government.
After the postponement of the said visit, the Libyan diplomat ultimately decided to keep his program unchanged.
