Explosion hits Chempark in Leverkusen, Germany

A blast has rocked Chempark chemical industry site in Germany’s city of Leverkusen, the company announced on Tuesday, urging citizens to stay indoors and keep windows closed.

“For a previously unknown cause, there was an explosion in the Chempark Leverkusen. Plant fire brigade and air test vehicle in action. Residents please go to closed rooms and keep doors and windows closed,” the company said on Twitter
