Facebook launches live sports chat app Venue

Facebook Inc. declared on Friday the launch of “Venue,” its brand-new application for chatting about live sports events, which will be ready for iPhone and Android mobile phones. The first tournament which will be supported through the app will be NASCAR races.
“Digital spaces can connect us when we can’t be together in person, and Venue is one way to feel the energy of watching live events with other fans,” head of the company’s new product experimentation division Ime Archibong spoke on the occurrence.
