Finland, Sweden to send delegations to Turkey tomorrow

Finland and Sweden will send delegations to Turkey on Wednesday to negotiate their North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) membership status, Finland’s Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto announced on Tuesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Nordic delegates will try to reach an agreement with Turkish diplomats regarding Finland and Sweden’s application for membership in NATO, which Turkey has been opposing.
