Fire at chemical plant in India reportedly kills five

At least five people are feared to be dead as a result of a blast at a chemical plant in Telangana, India, local channel New Delhi TV reported on Wednesday.

The media added that the incident is suspected to be connected to a blast in an industrial reactor. “Several others are said to be trapped,” while eight to ten employees have suffered severe injuries and have been taken to the hospital.
