Floods in Libya: 2,000 dead and thousands missing according to Eastern authorities

The Libyan Parliament-appointed Prime Minister Osama Hammad announced today through the Libyan media Al Marsad that the death toll in the disaster-stricken city of Derna surpasses 2,000 dead.

Hammad, who likewise mentioned the thousands of missing, noting that entire neighbourhoods were swept away by the waters.
