Four individuals were wounded in a stabbing at Christ the Good Shepherd Church in Sydney, the New South Wales emergency services said on Monday. Police said they arrested a suspect who is “assisting [them] with inquiries.”
The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, with one man hospitalized and the others being treated at the scene. The incident comes only days after seven people, including the attacker, were killed in another stabbing at the Westfield Shopping Centre in Sydney. The authorities did not treat it as a terror attack.
