France cancels Bastille Day parade over coronavirus

The French presidency announced on Thursday that this year’s yearly Bastille Day parade has been dropped due to the coronavirus outbreak.
According to President Emmanuel Macron’s office, the parade will not take place so that social distancing rules could be respected.
The Bastille Day will be marked by a ceremony on the Place de la Concorde on July 14 instead.
