France on Sunday recorded 12,565 new coronavirus contaminations over the past 24 hours, dropping from the past daily toll that had a set a new record.
The total number of infections since the commencement of the pandemic began to 619,190 cases, the health ministry announced.
The number of deaths increased by 32 to 32,230.
