France added 4,070 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours as the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in the country stands at 542,639, the country’s health authorities revealed on Monday.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the disease increased by 81 since the previous update to 31,808.
