French government orders dissolution of leading Muslim rights group

The French government dissolved the Collective against Islamophobia in France (CCIF) in the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, the latter accused of making “Islamist propaganda”, announced Gerald Darmanin.

Last Friday, the collective decided to take the lead by announcing to have “self-dissolved”. It had already redeployed its activities and its headquarters abroad shortly before.
