FTHB discipline: goalkeeper Assil Namli removed from national team!

The Central Disciplinary Commission of the FTHB decided to suspend goalkeeper Assil Namli from the national senior men’s handball selection, until further notice and inflicting a fine of 20,000 Dt payable within 30 days. It was also decided to compulsorily submit him to a mental preparation and rehabilitation program, under the supervision of an expert designated by the federation. He will be responsible for supporting Namli and writing a detailed report to present to the federal office as well as to the committee of his club, Esperance de Tunis. This decision follows his actions towards goalkeeper coach, Riadh Sanaa, during AFCON 2024 in Egypt, where Namli refused to play in the AFCON quarter-final against Guinea.
