The UN Security Council vote on the situation in Gaza, planned for Monday, was delayed until Tuesday to permit negotiations on the text to continue, AFP learned from diplomatic sources.
The United Arab Emirates, at the origin of the new draft resolution which seeks for a cessation of hostilities to allow access to humanitarian aid, has requested a postponement of the vote, which should take place on Tuesday at a time not yet determined, specified these sources.
