40,139 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war 318 days ago, the Gaza Health Ministry said in an update on Monday.

Within the last 24 hours, 40 people died and 134 were hospitalized, authorities added. 92,743 individuals have been injured, according to the ministry’s data.
