Germany sees its second-highest COVID death toll

Germany recorded 1,019 coronavirus deaths in the past twenty-four hours, which signals the second time the nation saw over 1,000 deaths in a single day, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) revealed on Wednesday.

The nation death  total increases to 36,537  while the cumulative number of infections reaches 1,808,647.
