Germany sees over 1,000 virus deaths 2 days in row

Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in its update issued on Thursday that Germany recorded 1,070 coronavirus deaths in the past twenty-four hours.

The number is the second-highest daily death toll registered since the pandemic hit the nation.

The country’s total increases to 37,607 while the cumulative number of infections reaches 1,835,038, with another 26,391 people testing positive for the virus.
