Tunisia – Ghannouchi : Owing it to Ennahda and it’s support Youssef Chahed’s government is one the longest-lived among post-revolutionary governments

In an interview with France 24 on  May 20, 2019. Rached Ghannouchi president’s of Ennahda Party stated that Youssef Chahed’s government is the longest-lived among post-revolutionary governments; due to the Ennahda and its support.

He further expressed his understanding of Youssef Chahed’ declaration that Tunisia doesn’t govern itself in the name Hassan al-Banna or Lenin”. Adding that Youssef Chahed’s statement falls within the framework of self-defence and the midst of the upcoming elections.
