Global coronavirus infections pass 2 million mark

The number of global coronavirus cases exceeded 2 million on Wednesday, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The data revealed the number of deaths stood at  128,071, while the number of people who recovered reached  500,996.

The U.S. persists the country with the most infections with above 609,600. It additionally has the highest number of deaths with more than 26,000.

Italy has the second-highest death toll with more than 21,000, followed by Spain with over 18,500 deaths.

On the other hand China,  reported a total of 3,346 deaths and over 83,300 cases.
