Hamas delegation arrives in Cairo for talks

A Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo, Egypt for talks, the group announced in a Telegram post on Tuesday.

According to the post, the delegation led by Hamas senior leader Ismail Haniyeh and the Deputy Chairman of Hamas in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, traveled to Cairo “in order to hold discussions with Egyptian officials about the political and field conditions in light of the aggressive war on Gaza and the efforts made to stop the aggression, provide relief to citizens, and achieve the goals of Palestinian people.”
