The Étoile Sportive du Sahel family is in mourning. Hamed Bouzrara, considered the club’s oldest supporter, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 100.

Born on June 9, 1924, Bouzrara was more than just a fan—he was a living symbol of the club’s history. Through victories and hardships, his unwavering passion for ESS left a mark on generations of supporters.
Even at his advanced age, he visited the club’s headquarters to collect his “Étoiliste for Life” membership card, reaffirming his lifelong dedication to the team.
A Pioneer in Metal Construction
Beyond football, Bouzrara was a trailblazer in Tunisia’s metal construction industry, training multiple experts and leaving a lasting impact on the sector.
A Fitting Tribute
His passing leaves a profound void among Étoile du Sahel’s community. The club and its supporters will honour his memory, celebrating the legacy of a man whose love for ESS never wavered.
In a heartfelt tribute, the club reminded fans:
“Étoile lives through its supporters, and they will always bring it back to where it belongs.”
