Hezbollah confirms death of senior commander

Hezbollah said in a statement on Wednesday, broadcasted by Al Mayadeen, that one of its senior commanders was killed during an Israeli attack, confirming previous reports.

The individual in question was Hussain Ibrahim Mekky, who the Israeli military believes was in charge of the militant group’s southern front. Israel further claimed that he was one of the people planning and carrying out strikes against the country.
