The leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, Abdel Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, warned on Thursday that the group will target “any ship of any company” involved in supplying goods to Israel in response to “Israeli aggression on Rafah.”
“Whenever the enemy tends to escalate, we must escalate further,” al Houthi said in a televised speech, adding that the Iran-backed group is already considering “the fifth and the sixth phase of escalation” of the conflict, which would include “very important, sensitive and influential options.”
