United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported on Thursday in a post on X that as many as 80,000 people fled Rafah after Israel’s military operation that took place on May 6.
“The toll on these families is unbearable. Nowhere is safe. We need a ceasefire NOW,” the agency stated, adding that those who left the area are in search of refuge.
