Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s chief of staff, Gergely Gulyas , confirmed on Thursday that Hungary will pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In a statement, Gulyas revealed that the withdrawal process will begin today, “in line with Hungary’s constitutional and international legal obligations.” The announcement comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who faces an arrest warrant from the ICC, visits the country.
