The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft “successfully soft-landed” on the Moon’s southern pole on Wednesday, making India the fourth country to ever land on the lunar surface and the first ever to make the landing on its south pole, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced.
