India’s daily COVID-19 infections rise to 16,922

The daily toll of COVID-19 infections recorded in India stood at 16,922 on Wednesday, increased opposed to yesterday’s figure and bringing total cases in the country to 473,105, according to the nation’s Health and Family Welfare Ministry.
Meanwhile, the death toll reached 14,894, with health authorities confirming 418 additional virus-related fatalities during the day.
During the same, the cumulative number of recoveries increased by at least 13,012 to reach 271,696.
